“We’re happy to welcome Deepak Anand to our advisory Board,” said Sarah Tahor, Founder and CEO of CIF. “Deepak brings incredible experience and a network of colleagues that will accelerate and facilitate transactions in the market. Our team is located onsite in Israel and Canada, we have tremendous knowledge and understanding of regional cannabis trends and regulations, as well as personal contacts. We are excited about the opportunity to work with Deepak and believe the value he will bring is for the benefit of the market as a whole”.

“Israel is the leading country in the world in terms of cannabis research, and has one of the world’s most progressive regulatory environments”, says Anand.  “Working with CIF is a natural fit as the team has access to, and is able to introduce new products and technologies to the global market”.

CIF launched in August 2018, and is a female-led venture with a portfolio of over 30 Israeli canna-tech companies, cultivators and clinical labs.  CIF helps the companies to commercialize their technologies by promoting Israeli technology to licensed cannabis producers in Canada, as well as multi-state operators and value added cannabis VCs in the US. Their North American clients include some of the top Licensed Producers and Multi State Operators.  The company was recently selected as cannabis advisers to Entrée Capital, a $300 million venture capital firm that funds multi-stage startups and companies all over the world.
